|Robert Falfa (1879 - 1943)|
Originally from Texas, Falfa moved to NYC in 1899. He found immediate work on the local docks. After the General Slocum incident, Falfa moved to Modesto, CA., where he opened up one of the first public speedways. He died while witnessing a test run, when a car left the track and crashed into the stands where he was sitting.
